Among all the stories in this book ten stories were published in the first or second edition of Alcoholics Anonymous. So as a collection it increases our knowledge of what we used to be like. This book tells the story of alcoholics who are suffering from their disease and have heard about this association and joined it at any age with any lifestyle and occupation and with any ethnic racial and religious background. The importance of these personal stories should not be ignored. This book is an important tool for readers who are not members of this community to consider themselves members of it. This book is in three separate parts and has 52 stories.
