This pamphlet is illustrated and briefly and comprehensively deals with the topic of association services, service structure and its members. As the association expands, so do its service needs, such as the need to protect the tested principles of the association, the need to manage requests from around the world in a central location, the need for publications, the need for broad representation of the association in public relations matters, and the need for competent trustees for service budgets. The community has expanded. Service is our third heritage. Healing and unity are the first and second heritage. Service to others and to the Society reminds us that we owe our consciousness to the work of past members of the Society, and that our continued sobriety depends on the hundreds of thousands of others who have yet to learn of the Society. Their participation can be part of our future.
