This pamphlet considers the importance of the issue of archives and states that many districts, regions, intergroup/central offices and groups have decided to form archives to preserve their local history. These guidelines have been prepared to assist in these efforts. Archiving services are more than just a maintenance activity; Archives are tools for collecting, preserving and sharing the rich and purposeful legacy of the Society.
