Many of us newbies tell ourselves, let the group admins worry about community traditions, I m just a regular member. Everyone tells me that Alcoholics Anonymous doesn t have any rules, traditions aren t really rules that are only for officials. These traditions have a deep meaning for each of us. Traditions also have a way of working for possible future problems. The shared experiences during the first ten years of the Society s work gave rise to the Twelve Traditions, which were then published in detail in the Society s news section in 1946. This pamphlet deals with the twelve traditions in an illustrated and brief manner.
